Post by Jonas Blanck, Master in Management exchange student from the University of St Gallen (HSG)
To all my friends and MIM students at IE, some things you ought to know about my experience as an exchange student from the university of St Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland:
When I first joined the MIM program – IB specialization, I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know anyone here and wasn’t sure how welcoming my new colleagues would be. In retrospect, I had nothing to worry about! I’ve had the most amazing 3 months in Madrid and feel so fortunate to have had this opportunity.
The overall class atmosphere was enjoyable and classes were interesting. I’ve met an awesome group of people from diverse backgrounds and made some close friends along the way. It was a great experience working as a team. Meeting up after class and having lunch in “DoEat” was a basic part of the daily routine.
Despite our demanding schedule, we were able to make fun plans and share a lot of good moments. Highlights? Going out for tapas, drinks, partying and we even had time to go on trips to some cool destinations: San Sebastian, Valencia, Toledo and Segovia.
As part of my responsibility as an exchanger from the University of St. Gallen, here are two programs that could be interesting for you and relevant for your further studies.
If you have any questions concerning the programs, my university, Switzerland, etc. feel free to drop me an Email firstname.lastname@example.org or just come over and we discuss it on the ski-slope!
