Alberto Chico Lázaro, Manager for Global Businesses Recruitment at Corporate Human Resources at Banco Santander, delivered a talk entitled “Careers in Finance” to a group of 64 students from the Master in International Management Program on Wednesday, October 19th. Mr. Chico has worked at Banco Santander for three and a half years and previously worked as the Manager for the Financial Services Division at Michael Page International.
The talk was part of the Executive Insights Series, which brings professionals from a variety of sectors to talk about their areas of expertise to IE students on campus. Students learned about major players and the various actors in finance, the qualifications and skills employers in the financial sector are looking for and examples of typical career paths for people from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds. Most importantly, students had the opportunity to interact with Mr. Chico, ask for advice about their careers, and learn more about Banco Santander.
On behalf of the MIM Program, we thank Mr. Chico for his time and his professional insight!
