Master in Management students from Elena Revilla’s Operations and Supply Chain Management class visited a logistics park in Coslada, near Barajas airport in order to learn more about the business of MRW, Spain’s leading national and international express transport company. MRW employs over 10,000 people in over 1300 franchises and 64 logistical platforms, with operation all over the Iberian Peninsula and Venezuela.
Students learned about how MRW manages the e-commerce business for retailers, such as Media Markt, in a busy warehouse full of forklifts, pickers and packers in order to fulfill incoming orders ranging from big screen plasma televisions to cables to software.
