As promised we are posting about our second destination of the Global Immersion Experience. Besides Rio de Janeiro, our Master in Management students from the February 2013 intake also had the opportunity of living an experience in China! Here is a summary of the trip along with some pictures from the students. Enjoy!

IE商学院在上海!

This October, a group of 20 MIM students took part in the Global Immersion Experience to Shanghai, China. Students attended a variety of company presentations and factory visits, including trips to Nokia, where the Head of Factory, IE EMBA graduate José Menéndez, showed them around, as well as to Shanghai General Motors, InterChina and Touch Media. Students also toured a migrant worker village, where migrants from Anhui province lived and worked in smaller Chinese-owned factories or small recycling facilities.

Some of the cultural highlights included a Chinese tea ceremony in the Old Town and a trip to Zhujiajiao, a traditional water village south of Shanghai. Finally, students attended a Farewell Dinner with MIM, IMBA and EMBA alumni who are all currently living in Shanghai, including MIMs currently on exchange with Fudan University.

我们都玩儿得很好!
