Those wonderful presentations from worldwide prestigious companies always constitute an amazing part of campus experience for all IE students. On November 28th, IE welcomed Société Générale, presenting its corporate culture — Take Up Your Position On the Team.
Founded in 1864, Société Générale now is a leading financial service institution in French and European market. The bank has more than 32 million clients in more than 70 countries. Just like IE, the diversity is also the key word to describe the Société Générale’s staff. The bank has nearly 150000 employees, 60% of them are women, representing approximately 120 nationalities.
It is worth mentioning the “General Inspector Program” (GIP) program provided by the bank. This program provides newly graduates an opportunity to step into “the heart of the bank’s activities”. The main task for all inspectors is assessing the level of risk management in an independent, objective and thorough way. Candidates will be travelling around the world, cooperating with branches in a wild range of tasks and business.
