Yesterday the MIM Opening Ceremony for the September 2019 intake was celebrated with insightful speeches by IE directors and alumni success stories.
Martin Boehm, Dean of IE Business School, Stephanie Villemagne, Associate Dean of the Master in Management Program, Isabel Janeiro, Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Aaron Cogollugo, and Carlos Festas Henriques, Master in Management Alumni were the speakers for the day. With hope and enthusiasm, they shared their experiences and how IE gave them the tools to change in all aspects of life.
Some of the highlights of the day were the speeches of our Master in Management alumni guests from the Class of 2016. Both shared their experiences with the MIM September 2019 intake about their IE journey. Carlos Festas Henriques, stressed the power of being resilient, positive and bold. Also, the importance of establishing clear objectives, setting milestones, creating a strategy and defining KPIs to achieve professional goals. Festas, is now working for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) one of the largest and most important consulting firms in the world. Aaron Cogolludo, decided to emphasize on the importance of having a good attitude and believing in yourself. He also stated that students could make a difference in their careers, depending on what they do from six to nine. Cogolludo, currently works for Google, and leads the International Growth Program for Google Spain & Portugal, collaborating with top high-growth companies leveraging on Google’s ecosystem as global growth driver.
Candidates also enjoyed a cocktail where they were able to exchange ideas and meet each other before actual courses start.
