IE has always aimed to be at the forefront of innovation in the world of higher education. To that end, we have developed Liquid Learning, a transformational and interactive educational experience that makes our vision tangible, transcending single methodologies and platforms. It is important to note that this is not the same thing as an online or blended program.
Liquid learning mixes physical, digital, and natural environments so that students obtain a world-class education no matter their current location or situation. The approach is rigorous, adaptable, and agile, based on our pillars of practical case studies, class participation, group work, and mentorship.
September 2020 MIM students do not have to delay their ambitions. Here are some key facts to keep in mind about the upcoming intake:
- The course will begin in-person on our Madrid campus on September 15th, 2020. The only exception would be offering a hybrid, online format to those students who cannot arrive in Madrid by September due to paperwork or flight delays, etc.
- Education today is not just about listening to a professor and meeting one set of classmates. With Liquid Learning, you benefit from IE´s on-campus community as well as its worldwide network and a wide range of innovative, digital teaching tools.
- The experience seamlessly blends on-campus and off-campus responsibilities and activities, giving you the skills that future employers will demand in the new digital workplace.
- Students can attend extracurricular and academic events (in-person and online) led by our 31 global offices. IE is one of the only graduate institutions in the world with such a broad international presence.
We aim to be as flexible as possible in the “new normal.” Your education will be just as intense and dynamic, if not more so, than before. The world is going to change in ways we cannot predict, but we know that digital savvy, collaboration, and creativity will continue to be critical. These are exactly the skills that Liquid Learning will foster.
